Come again?

Feb. 21 - I must really need some sleep (or perhaps wading through two feet of snow to get home has brought out my inner wacky.) Whatever the case, the main webpage for today's Telegraph features some, er, unusual headings:

Confused Spaniards vote for EU Constitution

Primates Show Anger

Girl's name for third Beckham boy

Bush likes gays and smoked pot (Heh. Not a surprise!)

1 Of course Bush likes homosexuals! That's why he won't ban them from marrying and he just covers up his gay-love by pretending to hate them, just so he can get the votes of America's majority. Ty P.S. I would go as far as suggesting that Bush IS gay. He only has twins remember. Even a homosexual can force himself to spread seed once in a while.

2 I do believe a person can be opposed to or even undecided about gay marriage without hating gays. Oftentimes they want to examine and think upon matters before they make a judgement, but if you insist on an answer Right Now! then it will be to the negative. I happen to be opposed to the FMA because I don't believe marriage is a subject that should be covered by the U.S. Constitution. Does that make me for or against gay marriage? So much nuance, so little time! By the way, your attack on Bush was unbelievably homophobic. That's a first on this site and I'm giving you the customary first(and only) warning.

3 Good point, Debbye. All or evil. But then, supporters of Bush's liberation of the people of Iraq from a vicious dictatorship to free elections are supposed to understand the nuance of France and Germany opposing the same. Bush made a point of listing the historical contributions of France to the cause of freedom. His critics are trying to paint his visit as if he is on his knees, begging for forgiveness for ridding Iraq of Saddam. I think he is trying to remind the French of their ancient roots and invite them back into the fold of freedom's defenders.

4 Bush's sense of history is superb. I'm really sure. While I don't think he's necessarily begging, he's definetly changing his tone because he realized the old strategy wasn't working too well. Homo-Hating Ty

5 I think it's more like Bush can afford to be magnanimous due to the success of the Iraq elections! The president has always gone the extra mile to put aside past differences with an eye toward building for the future. As I've admitted before, he is a better person than me.
