Gunshot wounds reporting to become mandatory

ONTARIO HOSPITALS will become the first in Canada required to report patients with gunshot wounds to police, under new legislation being introduced today. Government sources said Community Safety Minister Monte Kwinter will table a bill today in the wake of growing support from Ontario doctors to make such reporting mandatory.This is a sad commentary on the rise of gunplay in Toronto. I feel as though Ontario just lost some of her innocence.
